Mandatory leak test
All refrigeration systems containing refrigerant must be registered with the Hungarian National Climate Protection Authority. This must be done annually for systems with a refrigerant charge, semi-annually for systems with a refrigerant charge of 30-300 kg, and quarterly for systems with a refrigerant charge of more than 300 kg.
Environmental inspectors are expected to carry out serious inspections and in case of failure, they may impose significant fines. Leakage testing can be carried out by companies certified by the National Climate Protection Authority. Our company has the necessary qualifications, which you can check on the National Climate Protection website.
The operator must register the cooling equipment on the NKVH website. Without this registration, the leak testing activity cannot be carried out. Our company always carries out the leak testing activity based on an individual quote.
